Blue at Antioch Rodeo Cosca Family History Page 5, Noel Cosca

Noel learned to ride horses Noel jumping her horse Blue while growing up in Danville, California. Noel credits her her parents, Hap and Nancy Jones for her riding talents. She started riding english jumping horses and three day eventing which lead to horse shows, rodeo's, ropings, gymkhana and the Tevis Cup "One Hundred Miles in One Day" race at the age of 17. Today she is a gold card member of the WPRA Women's ProRodeo Association and competes Super Sunday Special at Red Bluff in barrel racing events. In the early 1970's Noel filled her GRA card winning her first event the Antioch, Ca. ProRodeo pictured on the left. She qualified for the Cashy at Echo, Oregon Chex Out This Willy Cashy during slack at Odessa ProRodeo High School Rodeo National Finals and the Sierra Circuit Finals now called the California Circuit Finals.
